There is no better person than Ed Sheeran to have sing at your wedding. Along with Snow Patrol’s pianist and guitarist, Johnny McDaid, this makes the perfect duo to cover ‘Chasing Cars’. The two of them have been friends for years, so it is great to finally see them performing together!
Ed’s incredible love songs definitely make it onto a majority of wedding playlists. This makes it a no brainer to whom would be a great performer at one. We are so glad to see him again as he is currently on a break from social media.
The performance was for Johnny’s sister Brid’s wedding. Combining a well-known love song with a great voice makes the perfect cover of ‘Chasing Cars’. A wedding is perfect for the two to get together and leave the crowd pleased. This definitely reminds us when Ed covered this song with Gary Lightbody in 2012. It’s nice to see Ed back on stage, especially when performing a great song.
